Package: ssh
Version: 1:3.8p1-3
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
lschiere@nat-vlan100:~$ ssh luke@schierer.org
ssh_askpass: exec(/usr/bin/ssh-askpass): No such file or directory
Permission denied, please try again.
ssh_askpass: exec(/usr/bin/ssh-askpass): No such file or directory

ssh_askpass: exec(/usr/bin/ssh-askpass): No such file or directory
Permission denied (publickey,password,keyboard-interactive).
lschiere@nat-vlan100:~$
as you can see from that, this package is rendered unusable by the
absense of a package that apt lists as merely "suggested" and which in
addition is undesirable since it gives someone in the same room as you
an indication of how long your password is (blue boxes change to green
with each button press).

The fixed version of makedev (2.3.1-68) is now in unstable, so I'm
