tried in solaris sparc ldom, created domain, same way as oracle sparc
linux (details in
https://oss.oracle.com/linux-sparc/docs/RELEASE-NOTES-1.0-en.html)
but changed cdrom from oracle iso to netinstall.iso
(debian-9.0-sparc64-NETINST-1.iso), here the output:
{0} ok boot cdrom
Boot device: /virtual-devices@100/channel-devices@200/disk@1 File and args:
The file just loaded does not appear to be executable.
{0} ok
attached solaris linux sparc iso to this netinstall ldom :
root@deimos:/home/sysadmin# ldm list-services
...
VDS
NAME LDOM VOLUME OPTIONS
MPGROUP DEVICE
lfs2.iso ro
/export/zfs/ISOs/linux-sparc-1.0-DVD.iso
netinst.iso ro
/export/zfs/ISOs/debian-9.0-sparc64-NETINST-1.iso
root@deimos:/home/sysadmin# ldm list -l netinstall
...
DISK

primary
cdrom netinst.iso@primary-vds0 1 disk@1
primary
cdrom1 lfs2.iso@primary-vds0 2 disk@2 primary
and if I try to boot from cdrom1 , it actually goes ok:
{0} ok boot cdrom
Boot device: /virtual-devices@100/channel-devices@200/disk@1 File and args:
The file just loaded does not appear to be executable.
{0} ok boot cdrom1
