Is davem such a grumpy person that you don't dare to send him your
patches? I'm pretty sure, he'll take all the changes you made since
guys have the knowledge to do proper improvements to the code and
test it on bleeding-edge hardware.

Thanks for the patch but this is really a lot and it's almost too much
for me alone to be able to digest this. Is there any way we can get
this upstreamed? Maybe I can bribe you with some German beer or
chocolate? ;-)
