Bug#673541: mysql-5.5: source tarball contains Docs/mysql.info which is not DFSG

Peter,
It means I think that it can be redistibuted if unmodified. However the copyight file does not make it clear.

Also I have no idea how you fix snapshot. I'm only trying to fix unstable. 5.5.23-1 (experimental) will have the same issue. I doubt anything else does but they need to be checked until the last one Norbert worked on/.

Now it seems that at some point I directly downloaded from upstream

it is this tarball that has been uploaded with 5.5.23-2.

thanks for your report. For snapshot, can you tell me if that file is
at least distributable, even if not DFSG-free?

Cheers,

Peter,
The license is here for now: http://paste.debian.net/170119/. I
hope to raise a fix asap which should make the issue moot.

You can't fix snapshot that way. And linking to a paste on the BTS is a
bad idea. It means your message is useless in a couple hours.

Also, it did not really answer my question. Do you know if mysql.info
is redistributable? I think the text you pasted suggested that, but I
am not sure.
