Don't worry about the hbox.  That will not stop the doc being generated.

The DVI file has been correctly generated. (or, at least, generated).

..so this is a weird error.  You need to investigate why
debiandoc2latexps thinks there has been an error when it looks like
the the DVI was generated fine.
