Hmm. likely same message as described in #72887.

Do you set nochunks or similar in your ldp.dsl ?

What version of original sgmltools ? sgmltools v1 can not handle
DocBook DTD.  And SGMLtools v2 is packaged as sgmltools-2 in Debian.

If you wish to produce single html file, use -b onehtml.

Can you inform us about your ldp.dsl and kernel-pkg.en.sgml more ?
