I must say that from a Debian user's point of view, I must agree with
Adam here. In most cases, a user will want to apt-get install
<package> and not worry about getting the version number right
(although this could probably be circumvented with a task package or
something).

Remember, if there is an actual showstopper that makes version n.nn
work for document X while document Y requires n.nn+1, the user can
always use a non-debianised version of the stylesheets alongside the
Debian package.
