Yes, I need those formats to use sgmltools-lite for producing PS
and PDF output.

I suppose that those Makefile rules call jade/jadetex with some
appropriate options. If so, I will like it, too.

I have my left arm broken now, so I can't work well for about 2 weeks. 
But if you let me see, I'd like to check it.
