Happens in 2 cases:
tripwire[3785]: (CRON) Integrity Check Complete: /var/lib/tripwire/.....
/USR/SBIN/CRON[3302]: (CRON) error (grandchild #3303 failed with exit status
1)
/USR/SBIN/CRON[3837]: (nobody) CMD (([ -x /usr/share/sa-exim/greylistclean ]
&& /usr/share/sa-exim-greylistclean)
/USR/SBIN/CRON[3836]: (CRON) error (grandchild #3837 failed with exit status
1)

Check your logs - search for the grandchild number - you should be able
to tell what cron job is causing the error.

I had similar issues when php4-common or something similar was
removed,
but not purged. "dpkg --purge php4-common" fixed the issue.
