There was already a discusion about it, and sind Herbert Xu leafed
us, the kernels are maintained by the Kernel-team and they consider
to support the rather 2.4.24 and higher then 2.4.18 to 2.4.23.
They droped the support up to 2.4.26 and Martin Schulze (I think)
told me that he have time, he try to put the latest security updates
into 2.4.18 but this has not happen up to today.
If I count right, then there are curently 8 or 9 Security problems
with 2.4.18.
