If I replace the current gpg command with this:
<snip>
gpg --no-tty --no-options --decrypt /mnt/stick/key.gpg </dev/console |
losetup .....
</snip>
I get the following error message even when executing the script in a
console:
<snip>
gpg: Sorry, no terminal at all requested - can't get input
</snip>
So, I did not try this during boot time.

Concerning the second suggestion using the --passphrase-fd option to gpg
does not work either and I get the same old message during boot time as
above.

Any other hints?

Thanks and a nice weekend,
