It was not loaded. I did load it, tryied again, but result was the same.
BTW, shouldn't theses modules be loaded automagically by modprobe?!

Any other idea? Or any pointer?

I already read this one (from /usr/share/doc/ipsec-tools/FAQ.gz):

There is plenty of configurations examples, but nothing about this problem.
