No, all my configuration files are located in /chroot/named/etc
(named.conf, localtime and rndc.key). The zone data files are
stored in /chroot/named/etc/namedb. Actually it seems to work except for
the rndc.key because resolving hosts from the LAN and machines from the
internet work. Just stopping bind9 fails because of the rndc.key.

Yes, I also checked /etc/init.d/bind9 and found out the same but in the
HOWTO the author mentioned that he expects no problems with rndc and the
document says that rndc doesn't need to be chrooted.
