While the kernel boots, it cannot write to the log file, because that
filesystem might not be mounted yet. It has to wait for init to run
klogd before writing the kernel startup messages. If named starts quick
enough, it can write through syslog at the same time as klogd is
writing, hence the interleaved messages.
Its uncommon, but not impossible.
