The easy way to do it is instead of using "startx" use
"startx -- -nolisten tcp".  I used this command to fire
up X under 3.3.6, but with 4.0.3 it's setup to not listen
to tcp, thus just startx works.

What happens if a big asteroid hits the Earth?  Judging from 
simulations involving a sledge hammer and a common laboratory 
frog, we
