Debian GNU/Linux Security May 08, 1998
The CERT has reported three vulnerabilities of bind, the internet
nameserver daemon, in their advisory CA-98.05 from April 8th 1998.
One problem may let remote users gain root access on your name server.
Two of the problems are denial of services.
We suggest you upgrade your nameserver daemon immediately.
These problems are fixed since version 8.1.2-1 of bind8 and 4.9.7-1 of
bind4. Please fetch the appropriate packages and update your system.
dpkg -i file.deb
will install the referred file.
