Судя
по виду логов, пакет Apache у тебя обновлялся, а не устанавливался
заново. В Sarge немного другая структура конфигурационных файлов и
/etc/apache/httpd.conf заменяет /etc/apache/apache.conf. Попробуй
сначала просто удалить старый пакет полностью (вместе с конфигами):
apt-get --purge remove apache, а потом поставить новый пакет "с нуля".
