2.4.2 ядро kernel panic

поставил ядро из пакета
сказал
dpkg-reconfigure lilo
лило поставилось
перегружаюсь
kernel panic
cannot mount root partition

ядра 2.2.17 и 2.2.19 грузятся без проблем

где грабли??
