This has already been discussed on the mailing list [1], and the 
underlying issue has been identified  The reason for failing is 
different than on mips64el though. The newer version of octave-mapping 
added tests that requires NaN payload propagation. This is not supported 
on RISC-V, which instead emits a canonical NaN.

This package has no reverse dependencies, therefore given the that we 
are now in hard-freeze I think the best is to remove this package from 
the archive on riscv64 to prevent its removal on other architectures 
where it is fully functional. We can find a way to fix the issue later. 
I have filled #1107508 for that.
