I want to join the reportbug-team.

could you spend a bit more time elaborating on your join request?

you have not answer this question. that's not a good sign

according to https://salsa.debian.org/reportbug-team/reportbug/-/graphs/master?ref_type=heads
, it appears you havent contributed to the reportbug project yet (at
least in the form of code being merged).

I contribute some MR but don't get any response

are you referring to the 2 MRs
https://salsa.debian.org/reportbug-team/reportbug/-/merge_requests/?sort=created_date&state=all&author_username=mechtilde&first_page_size=20
where you're adding just some whitespaces, not explain why you're
submitting these changes, and one MR appears to be a (partial)
duplicate of the other?

It should be no surprise you dont get any reply when submitting low quality MRs.

And while typos and other formatting changes may have value, that's
not the level of contributions we want to see when considering a
perspective new team member. We want to see a steady stream of high
quality changes with substantial value, up to a point where a code
review is no longer necessary, tackling hard issues independently and
end-to-end.

I will see to which extent I can meet your requirements for a steady stream of high-quality changes with substantial value to the point where code review is no longer necessary, and where difficult problems are tackled independently and consistently.

I want to make reportbug more comfortable also for Newcommers.

you should explain what is currently missing, what would you like to
change and how you plan to achieve that goal, but you have not.

I will create appropriate bug reports for this in due course.

All in all, i believe the 2 emails you sent in this thread took less
than 2 minutes to write in total. Spending the time to explain why you
would be a good addition to team is worth the effort.

For all the reasons above, i'm afraid that at this time, your request
to join the reportbug team is rejected.

Regards,
