Bug#1021481: reportbug: -r always create a new bug even when replying
Package: reportbug
Version: 11.5.1
Severity: normal
When trying to provide additional information to an existing bug, a
configuration problem from my side prevented reportbug from sending a
mail. reportbug then suggested to use "reportbug -r /tmp/[...]" to
resume the submission.
However, this option made reportbug send the mail to submit@ instead of
replying to the existing bug number. This created a new bug, even if
the existing bug number was present in the "Followup-For" pseudo-header.
See #1021480 for such a junk bug.
