Package: reportbug
Version: 7.5.3~deb10u1
Severity: serious
Justification: must

* The system freezes during any operation. For example, during online meeting,
copying, file editing. Sometimes the system becomes extremely slow before the
freeze occurs. For example, the mouse pointer moves very slowly. In such a
case, when I tried to shut down the system with desktop environment, the system
froze again.

In the syslog file, I came across lines like the following;
interrupt took too long ...
kernel: [38221.708510] hrtimer: interrupt took 4980511 ns
e.g.

* I tested the system with or without an external disk attached to the system,
with the web cam off.

I organized the Grub as follows.
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT = "quiet intel_idle.max_cstate = 1"

I tried removing the SSD disk and using the system via USB stick. But in this
case, the system freeze occurred.

I've tried Nvidia drivers instead of Nouveau.

* Despite all my attempts, I could not solve the freezing problem. I could not
find any data on the time the freezing problem occurred in the syslog records.

* CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 - GPU: Nvidia Geforce 8600M GS

You filed this bug against the reportbug package, which is Debian's
helper tool to facilitate bug reporting, and not what you intended.
Since we cannot help you here, I'm closing this report.

You are more likely to receive helpful feedback if you file a bug
against the correct package, which in your case probably is the kernel
you are running. Reportbug will support you in identifying the running
kernel's package and in collecting potentially relevant system
information for the report, just run `reportbug kernel`.

(Incidentally I also had system freezes with my system. Appending
  ahci.mobile_lpm_policy=1
to my kernel command line fixed it for me. This might not work for you,
though, since there are many things that can cause similar symptoms.)
