reportbug does ask for a port - in the question about the smtphost: | Please enter the name of your SMTP host. Usually it's called | something like "mail.example.org" or "smtp.example.org". | If you need to use a different port than default, use the | '<host>:<port> alternative format.I think having it integrated in this question is a good idea, because most people do not need a non-default port and non-technical users would get more confused if we added an extra question about the port.
Therefore I believe this issue is more a user support issue than a bug in reportbug. Closing this bug accordingly.
