in ~/.reportbugrc, you just need
smtphost reportbug.debian.org
and that's it (you can also re-run the reportbug configuration menu
and dont enter any smtphost, and r.d.o will be selected automatically,
just follow the instructions)
can you provide an example of how you'd like to have
the documentation updated?
