Bug#946363: reportbug can't identify the package of a bug specified with -N when the bug is files against a source package
Package: reportbug
Version: 7.5.3
Severity: normal
Greetings
I recently tried to submit an additional report for the bug #939875
which is filed against src:linux, but apparently reportbug struggles
to identify src:linux as a proper package name:
$ reportbug --pgp --email 'kritzefitz@debian.org' -N 939875
*** Welcome to reportbug. Use ? for help at prompts. ***

reportbug still allows me to send the followup, if I press N:

Will send report to Debian (per lsb_release).
Please provide a subject for your response.

At this point the report template looks like this (delimiters inserted
by me):
START OF TEMPLATE
Subject: Re: linux-image-5.2.0-2-amd64: Suspend fails. Machine shuts down after approx 30 seconds
Followup-For: Bug #939875
Package: src:linux
-- System Information:
Debian Release: bullseye/sid
APT prefers testing-debug
APT policy: (990, 'testing-debug'), (990, 'testing'), (102, 'unstable-debug'), (102, 'unstable'), (101, 'experimental-debug'), (101, 'experimental')
Architecture: amd64 (x86_64)
Kernel: Linux 5.3.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores)
Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE
Locale: LANG=de_DE.utf8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_DE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8)
Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash
Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
LSM: AppArmor: enabled
END OF TEMPLATE
This looks like it only gathered the generic system information, even
though reports for src:linux usually gather a lot more information.
Regards
Sven
