Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org Usertags: transition The latest upstream of gmerlin includes a soname bump of libgmerlin. The Debian packages have updated their names accordingly. The new gmerlin has been uploaded to experimental and has passed the NEW queue. I've done test-builds of all immediate reverse-dependencies as indicated by https://release.debian.org/transitions/html/auto-gmerlin.html The list of reverse dependencies is: - gmerlin-avdecoder - gmerlin-encoder Both packages are sibling projects of gmerlin. Versions compatible with (and requiring) libgmerlin2 are waiting in experimental (and a required library transition will be requested from those of these packages that provide libraries will be requested shortly). Ben file: title = "gmerlin"; is_affected = .depends ~ "libgmerlin0" | .depends ~ "libgmerlin2"; is_good = .depends ~ "libgmerlin2"; is_bad = .depends ~ "libgmerlin0";
