Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org Usertags: transition Hello, I'd like to request a transition slot from the release team. The libhiredis SONAME changed in the latest release from upstream, indicating ABI-incompatible changes to the library. Updating the binary package to reflect the new SONAME. libhiredis0.13 has been uploaded to experimental by my sponsor. I couldn't quite figure out how to get the Ben file reportbug generated for me below to give me a list of dependent packages (this is my first request for a transition), but I pulled this list from apt-cache rdepends if that's at all useful: zmap webdis syslog-ng-mod-redis ruby-hiredis rspamd rfc5766-turn-server python-hiredis ntopng kamailio-redis-modules libhiredis-dev libhiredis-dbg coturn Please let me know if I'm doing it wrong -- happy to get some practice. The reportbug-generated Ben file: title = "hiredis"; is_affected = .depends ~ "libhiredis0.10" | .depends ~ "libhiredis0.13"; is_good = .depends ~ "libhiredis0.13"; is_bad = .depends ~ "libhiredis0.10"; -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)

Only webdis remained listed there, sid-only, and with an NMU in DELAYED, so I'm considering this transition over and closing this bug report accordingly. Mraw, KiBi.Attachment: signature.asc
