Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

I was trying to remove Konqueror on bookworm since I don't use it and
noticed that it is one of kde-baseapps meta package which is part of
kde-plasma-desktop meta package and which is also a dependency of
other meta packages. I had to remove several meta packages and mark
their dependencies as manually installed to be able to remove
Konqueror.

I think Konqueror is no longer really important to be one of the
dependencies of kde-baseapps since most KDE users are probably using
something like Firefox instead as a browser and Dolphin as a file
manager.

Could we at least lower it to a "recommends" instead to enable people
to remove it without having to remove all these meta packages which
depends on it?

Let me know if there is a reason for it being in the "depends" now.

Note: This problem also exists on Debian Trixie too.

Best regards,
Ahmed Siam
