Bug#705567: calligrawords: Cannot create encrypted documents
Package: calligrawords
Version: 1:2.4.4-3
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
Calligra Words is not able to produce encrypted documents; Words reports that encryption is disabled. I expect this is intentional but I thought I'd report it anyway, just in case.
Steps to reproduce:
------------------
1) Launch Words from a terminal and create a blank document.
2) Save the document as an encrypted ODT (File > Save As... > File Type: ODT (encrypted))
Outcome:
--------
1) Error message produced by Words: "Could not save /home/richard/Documents/Blah.odt Reason: Could not create the file for saving"
2) Check terminal output: words(3984)/koffice (lib store) KoEncryptionChecker::isEncryptionSupported: QCA is enabled but sha1, pbkdf2(sha1) or blowfish-cfb are not supported. Encryption is disabled.
Expected outcome:
-----------------
That the document would save without an error.
Additional info:
---------------
1) I've manually loaded the kernel modules shown in the console error message and then retried to create the encrypted document but this made no difference.
2) System is an up-to-date, stock Wheezy/testing system; no custom or proprietary packages are installed.
