Package: korganizer Version: 4:4.4.11.1+l10n-3 Severity: normal --- Please enter the report below this line. --- Hello folks, in my view korganizer works way faster if calendar files are kept small. I could increase speed massively by reshaping an .ics file from 300k to 12k. I did that by manually "cleaning up the past" which took an hour or so, but was a very simply task. So i would very much like to see a feature in korganizer that allows the user to trigger that past events are erased or moved to some kind of archive, which should be another file, of course. For repeated events it could mean that they are processed after their last occurrence is over. Or that every time an occurrence becomes part of the past it is removed/archived and at the same time the following occurrence is set the starting point of the sequence. There should also be the freedom say that past event are kept for some time before they are removed/archived. The reason for this feature request is that a calendar should rather keep the focus on the future than the past.
