Dear Maintainer,
On a newly created user even - and not only for "old" one - KDE ceased to log out or shut down - after upgrade to testing.
I have tried in single mode t orun startx - the problem was the same - only messages added on start up - that KDE daemon crashed and kdeinit4 got seg. fault.
