I'm using the french version, not sure about the english strings

Steps to reproduce: 
* Launch konqueror
* Go to Configuration > Configure Konqueror
* Behavior : "Startup URL", click on the folder icon

Expected result:
* I can select a file

Actual Result:
* Window is empty (showing only "/")
* Dialog box : "Le processus traitant le protocole file s'est arrêté de 
façon inattendue." = "The file protocol handler unexpectly stops"

NB: I've restarted my session, deleted ~/.kde and the problem still 
occurs
