	It is a known problem that KMail is not asynchronous when processing incoming 
mail (but it is when dispatching it).  As far as I know, the solution is a 
rewrite of the affected code, in order to make it fully threaded.  I do not 
know if such rewrite has been done in the KDE4 branch.
