Setting the cursor blink to No Blinking produces very rapid blinking e.g.
in Quanta Plus.

Okay - I read it as the bug is somehow gone. I am marking this bug as 'fixed'

Feel free to open a bug against qt4 for that issue if it bothers you enough.
