Package: kchart Version: 1:1.3.5-4 Severity: normal I've created the simplest possible dataset in kspread to make a chart, using columns A, B with the following values: Dad 38 Mum 40 Sam 9 Ben 7 Megan 5 I then select cells A1:B5, and click the insert chart button in kspread. I choose a barchart, which gets displayed with all 5 bars of what looks like zero height. It's somehow utterly failed to notice the values in column B. Any ideas? cheers, Simon PS: Using kspread version 1:1.3.5-4. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages kchart depends on: ii kdelibs4 4:3.3.2-4.0.2 KDE core libraries ii koffice-libs 1:1.3.5-4 common libraries and binaries for ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.17-1 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libaspell15 0.60.2+20050121-2 The GNU Aspell spell-checker runti ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-21 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libfam0c102 2.7.0-6 client library to control the FAM ii libgcc1 1:3.4.3-12 GCC support library ii libice6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libidn11 0.5.13-1.0 GNU libidn library, implementation ii libpng12-0 1.2.8rel-1 PNG library - runtime ii libqt3c102-mt 3:3.3.4-2 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libsm6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Window System Session Management ii libstdc++5 1:3.3.5-12 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxrender1 0.8.3-7 X Rendering Extension client libra ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Keyboard Extension (XKB) configu ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information

A reproduction procedure would be useful. However, as soon as I use the wizard to reformat the chart, and select a bar chart, the bars all collapse to zero height.Hi, Since reporting the bug, I upgraded my Debian system from Sarge to Sid. Am now running kchart version 1:1.5.0-1+b1, which does not show the same bug. So it looks like it's been addressed upstream. cheers, SimonThanks. I'm closing the bug, marking as fixed in that version to be safe.
