Package: tracker.debian.org
Severity: wishlist
If there is something available in launchpad but missing in the
distro-tracker is pages like this one:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/3.19.0-15.15
It reports the following information:
* the changelog of that upload (usually only that version, but even
multiple version if there more in the .changes (like with
dpkg-genchanges -v is used))
* the uploader
* the maintainer
* the targetted suite
* architectures to be build to
* component/section
* urgency
* a table listing the suites where this package/version is available on
* a list of builds (actually this is updated in real time, guess we in
debian don't have such "real time" infra anyway, but this info would
be handy. Also, lp keeps this information forever, look for example
at this linux upload from 2007:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/2.6.24-1.1 this would be
really handy)
* direct links to the single files of the sources
* links to every binary (I figure this point would also need a lot of
work to be integrated in the current debian infra).
Now, happens that launchpad does this work also for debian packages,
partly: https://launchpad.net/debian/+source/linux/3.16.7-ckt2-1 but
it misses builds information and binaries, and anyway, I believe it
would a great addition to the current debian package tracker.
Filing this bug to share a dream :)
