Bug#556589: qa.debian.org: discuss merging of wnpp.d.n with wnpp-by-tags

I've written wnpp-by-tags [0] to make it easy to find RFH/O/RFA bugs based on
debtag facets (eg. implemented-in::python, admin::backup, etc). It seems to be
useful (it's certainly to me) and several people have asked me in private to
merge it with wnpp.d.n
The author of the code behind the current wnpp.d.n (Sebastian, CC'ed) didn't
object to transferring wnpp.d.n to an alioth-hosted project, and having the
existing code obsoleted in favour of a python rewrite which I'm willing to do
(the current code is php).
I open this bug to encourage a discussion which will hopefully lead to a
consensus as to whether people actually agree on such a merging, and get an
idea of any specific requirements.
The simplest thing that comes to mind is wnpp.d.n as it stands now, with a new
filter for debtags facet/value combinations, but it doesn't have to be that
way.
