I'll have a look at it especially because there is a C++ version available
at the web page. So even if it is orphaned upstream it seems to be the
only tool to do image comparison at console instead of having to use
a GUI and that's why not completely uninteresting.
If somebody points me to a replacement I would be happy with the
removal.
