Package: qa.debian.org
Severity: wishlist

When going through packages in the PTS, there's no way to tell whether
something is still in sid, or whether it's been removed. The "Last
Version", at the top left, does not indicate which distribution the
package is in (ie,
http://packages.qa.debian.org/k/kernel-source-2.4.18.html is only in
woody; there's no way to see that from the PTS). Instead of the "Other
Available Versions", I'd recommend listing each distribution that
contains the package, and the version. This list would obviously
include sid in it. Ie, kernel-source-2.4.18 would remain:

 Other available versions
 Security Updates (stable) 2.4.18-14.3
 Stable 2.4.18-13
 Stable Proposed Updates 2.4.18-14.3

While kernel-source-2.4.26 might be:
 Other available versions
 Unstable	2.4.26-6
 Testing 2.4.26-6
 Stable Proposed Updates 2.4.26-1woody.1

This would make it easy to see, at a glance, when (for example) a
package has been removed from testing for RC bugs.

While Frank already explained that you can find the information you're
looking for if you know where to look, I just implemented this
(and now when looking if I accidently fixed any bugs I stumbled on this
one, but oh well). I hope it's clearer now.
