this is true, I opened [1] a thread exactly about this and why increasing the
number of watch files is good, probably the best thing to do is to manually file
bugs providing (working) watch files to packages, then the maintainer will
choose if use it or not, whether he/she is in direct contact with upstream
developers. indeed another good suggestion is to add a lintian/linda warning as
suggested by Riku Voipio [2]
