Package: zgv Version: 5.5-3 Severity: normal Zgv (which was my favourite image viewer) stopped working a while ago. Unfortunately, I originately suspected this would be a short-time problem and ignored it, so I can no longer point exactly at the problem. However, I *suspect* it may have been the change in grapgic card: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Matrox Graphics, Inc. MGA G400 AGP (rev 82) Just for completeness, there's also available a kernel update, a general motherboard update, and switching most stuff to the current stable distribution. Anyway, symptoms: Screen goes black, zgv seems to still react to keyboard. -- System Information Debian Release: 3.0 Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux khms.westfalen.de 2.4.19+kai.58 #1 Sam Sep 7 14:16:44 CEST 2002 i686 Locale: LANG=de_DE, LC_CTYPE=de_DE Versions of packages zgv depends on: ii libc6 2.3.1-9 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libjpeg62 6b-5 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libpng2 1.0.12-3.woody.3 PNG library - runtime ii libtiff3g 3.5.5-6 Tag Image File Format library ii svgalibg1 1:1.4.3-7 Console SVGA display utilities ii zlib1g 1:1.1.4-1 compression library - runtime
