Package: bibtool
Version: 2.46-2
Severity: normal

When I use bibtool on a file that contains comments (on
lines starting with the '%' character), I get messages like

*** BibTool WARNING: (line 641 in ./refs.bib): 141 non-space characters ignored.

which refer to the comments. It looks quite alarming (it
could have been a malformed entry etc) but actually it's
only triggered by a comment. Should bibtool be aware of
comments and say "I'm ignoring the comment" (or say nothing
at all)?
