Package: laptop-net
Version: 2.7-1
Severity: wishlist

Thanks for your work! It's one of the packages I was hoping that someone
would come up with.

On my notebook (an Apple iBook2) the network interface eth0 is running all
the time. If a cable is plugged in or removed from the network card, ifd
executes the following command (from the syslog):

Jan 16 19:56:47 fliege ifd[190]: executing: '/usr/share/laptop-net/link-change eth0 unwatched up,stopped,unknown up,running,unknown'
Jan 16 21:08:51 fliege ifd[190]: executing: '/usr/share/laptop-net/link-change eth0 unwatched up,running,unknown up,stopped,unknown'

Could laptop-net renegiate the configuration if the state of the interface
changes from 'running' to 'stopped'?

Cheers,
Stephan
