Subject: swapd: doesn'n allocate any swap
Package: swapd

I run out of memory in every 5 minutes. Even my browser is killed by the
kernel from time to time. My free mem is 2k, swapd is running, I do have
space on /swap and swapd just isn't doing anything. My swapd.conf is the
but just in case, here it is:

memlimit 16384
pause 1000
swapsize 4096
maxswaps 7
timeout 60
swapdir /swap
pidfile /var/run/swapd.pid
mkswap /sbin/mkswap

total used free shared buffers cached
