Package: esmtp Version: 0.5.1-2 Severity: normal If I send a message with only Bcc: recipients, esmtp tries to send a local message to user "undisclosed-recipients", fails, and complains. The remote users do actually get sent the message, however. If the Bcc: list contains only my address (Reuben Thomas <rrt@sc3d.org>) one or more times, it works fine. sc3d.org is the domain of the SMTP smarthost, but I don't know if that's relevant. My MUA (pine) invokes esmtp-run as "/usr/sbin/sendmail -t". -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-2-686 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages esmtp depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.30.13 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libesmtp5 1.0.3-1 LibESMTP SMTP client library ii libssl0.9.7 0.9.7e-3sarge1 SSL shared libraries -- debconf information: * esmtp/username: rrt * esmtp/hostport: 25 * esmtp/mda: procmail * esmtp/overwriteconfig: true * esmtp/hostname: pelican.sc3d.org * esmtp/starttls: disabled

Hi As discussed in the Bugreport with Reuben this was not reproducible at least with the current versions in my setup, thus closing this bugreport. Bests SalvatoreAttachment: signature.asc
