Instead of using memory(*alloc) could ubh be made to use temp files?  On
unix the use of mmap could make this transparent and keep the OS in control
of swapping.

P.S. Maybe perl should deal with this but the fact is it dose not.

The ubh package has been removed from Debian so we are closing
the bugs that were still opened against it.
