Package: xmcd Version: 2.5pl1-7.1 First I had some IDE-ATAPI CD-ROM-drive and it worked fine w/ xmcd. Then I bought my first SCSI-card (Adaptec 29160) and my first SCSI-device, that was CD-ROM drive (Plextor UltraPleX 40max Internal (PX-40TSi)). I configured it with /usr/sbin/xmcdconfig. Now I can't run xmcd at all: juhtolv@heresy : /home/juhtolv % xmcd 10004 | pts/2 xmcd Fatal Error: Xmcd binary permissions error: It should be setuid root. I guess in the dim and distant past scsi cdroms were for root only, that is no longer the case.Attachment: signature.asc
