Bug#486426: lockvc: completely breaks screen output

After calling 'lockvc' as normal user from virtual console, it breaks
screen at all - no any output neither on virtual console or X11 virtual
console.

I have video card 'ATI Radeon x200', video driver 'ati' from
experimental.
