When using gtk-gnutella with any xenophilia theme (other themes work
fine), it redraws the whole window about once per second.  I looked
around and traced it down calls to gtk_progress_set_format_string with
stats displays (line 1308 of gui.c of gtk-gnutella), and disabling
those gets rid of the problem.

Just a guess, but maybe xenophilia is changing the size of the widget,
which causes the seperator bar to move and triggers a redraw of the
whole window?

The xenophilia package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/352593 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.
