Package: lxdoom
Version: 1.4.4-7
Severity: important

It is possible to run "lsdoom" from the X11 console, and it runs well (console
switching works too), but when I quit with any method (sending SIGTERM from
console, or pressing Ctrl-C in the xterm I have run it from, or simply exit the
game), the entire console display gets locked (it shows me a blank page with
"Using: retrace" writing in it). Thanks for the Magic SysRq key! However,
evenafter a recovery via SysRq-K the console display is damaged: a little black
spot in the form of last used X11 cursor appears constantly over the symbols on
all consoles. (I think it reveals some details of X11R6 S3 driver
implementataion.) It also appears in the game if I run it again, but not in
X11. Nothing but reboot seems to repair this.

I think this bug is important, because one can easily run the SVGA version
instead of X11, and get this lockup at exit.

Hello,

lxdoom has been removed from Debian. Therefore, I am
closing all it's bugs.

Please take a look at the "prboom" package. Prboom is the
successor to lxdoom.

Thanks,
